Goodbye PlayStation Network

Sony has finally decided to convert PlayStation Network to Sony Entertainment Network (SEN). SEN will be a new online platform includes all Sony products integrated services from video games, movies, music, and other products. Sony claims that the platform is built to bring digital entertainment experience that is more unique and maximum. If you already have a PSN account before, you can directly access this service with your old username and password. Sony also admitted that the whole platform PlayStation Network would be completely overhauled with new standards of SEN.

After passing through difficult times, the existence of the Playstation Network finally removed by the hands of Sony itself. Platform that already familiar in most of PlayStation gamers are forced to evolve. A good or bad news? As long as Sony able to keep its promise to deliver SEN platform that still user-friendly, an integrated service, this does not sound so bad. Ease of access to services and the containing clear and precise information will be the most important points.

Certainly is not a secret anymore if the online service is now one of the most essential features for the gaming industry. Services like XBOX Live and PlayStation Network is now the backbone of the gaming experience to get more leverage from online multiplayer, downloadable content, or just get the updated information. Having survived the brutal attacks by hackers, PlayStation Network finally had to die at the hands of the creator himself.
