Sonic have a lot of games sequels, and one of the newest sequels for the Android platform is a Sonic 4 Episode 1.

Like other touch-screen game, the game has a virtual d-pad for controlling movement of Sonic characters. You can also change the type of control using accelerometer. Movements and combinations of actions that can be done are still same as previous versions such as the Spin Dash and Homing Attack. For control I did not find any problems, smoothly run on the touch screen.

First you will be presented with three main menus, New Game, Continue, and Help & Option. Help & Options, in this menu you can control settings choosing virtual d-pad or tilt. New Game option will take you to play the first stage, after that you will be presented with four zone options that you can choose. Each site consists of three acts and a boss level. There is also a seven special level with the Chaos Emerald and Super Sonic characters as rewards. There are two game modes, Score Attack or Time Attack.

Graphic
Graphical display is improved compared to Sega console version. Sonic characters look more detailed and refined in 3D.

For you fans of Sonic game, now you can play Sonic Series 4 Episode 1 on Android devices and also compatible to the latest version of Android, ICS. You will also be presented with a better view. But you have to get used to using a virtual d-pad. For me, the use of the accelerometer control is quite difficult use.
